Step into the world of the #1 bestselling Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas with this collection of prequel novellas.

Celaena Sardothien is her kingdom's most feared assassin. Though she works for the powerful Assassin's Guild and its scheming master, Arobynn Hamel, she yields to no one and trusts only her fellow killer-for-hire, Sam. But when Arobynn dispatches her on missions that take her from remote islands to hostile deserts, Celaena finds herself acting independently of his wishes and questioning her own allegiance.

If she hopes to escape Arobynn's clutches, Celaena will have to put her faith in her wits and her blade . . . knowing that if she fails, she'll lose not just a chance at freedom but her life.

Emotional Ending

“So the people of Terrasen will always know how to find their way home. So they can look up at the sky, no matter where they are, and know Terrasen is forever with them.”

Before Celaena became The King’s Assassin, she was Arobynn's prodigy, Adarlan’s Assassin. She fights her way up the assassin’s guild. But what happens when Celaena starts questioning her own allegiance? One wrong move and she could lose her life.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The prequel to Throne of Glass. I read this after Crown of Midnight and definitely recommend that before reading Heir of Fire. It started off a bit slow but I enjoyed having to hear the backstory of Celaena Sardothien. The ending left me heartbroken and an amazing cliffhanger which follows along to Throne of Glass. Can’t wait to continue this series!
