Hill has been love with Kody since the day he met her ... only she fell in love with someone else. So Hill left their small Texas town and went on to become a Texas Ranger. Now he's back in town investigating the death of Kody's father and all those feelings he had for Kody that he thought were long gone, come right back to the surface the minute he sees her.
I just loved this story! And who wouldn't love Hill? ... no really ... who? He is handsome, protective, reliable and HOT! And Kody ... I love that she doesn`t let anyone dictate her life, she does what she wants, when she wants. I could just feel the chemistry between Hill and Kody steam off the pages ... speaking of steam ... WOW! Then there`s the mystery surrounding Kody`s father`s death. This is a great addition to the series and I can`t wait for the next book!
