My Guilin 2024

My Guilin in 2024 is a visual diary; with unfinished sketches used for two animated videos ( now available on YouTube - with links provided ). This album with poems and songs composed by me illustrates my love for Guilin in the 40th year. This is the 40th volume I publish on Apple Ebooks for free reading. It is also a way to thank God for allowing me to get a glimpse of Him through Guilin’s magical mountains : forever unpredictable, forever embracing yet permanent.
It was Guilin that inspired me to do a series of paintings in big scale in 1984, my first visit to China as a Chinese from Hong Kong. This volume therefore is also an autobiography, where I mention my passion for creativity from the past, and how the present Guilin images continue to serve as a solid foundation for further investigation in one’s deepest roots in order to welcome a future full with hope.
