Seeing the Light

A text message changed the way she started to see things. It only took a few words to change the way she was living her life.
When she received the text message that she had dreaded for years because it was always there in the back of her mind. She knew that she would need the time to come to grips with the things that were happening that she could not be there for. It seemed fate and everything else would deny her the chance to do something basic like to say goodbye to someone who was so special to her.
At the same time, she was offered a job to work alongside of the one she had normally. It would be there to help people in the area and also as it expanded the state. She could not pass it up. In doing that, she met a man who was simply one of the best people she could have ever met. When she explained why she was the way she was, he did not condemn her. He told her it was simply not her fault. The people around her before were. It was all she had ever wanted to hear from someone.
As time went on and she knew the day was coming, when it did, he was there with her, by her side. She lost one light in her life and now she had found another. Even in grief, she would start seeing the light again.
