In early Hollywood, its most sordid stories were played out off screen. And if anyone ended up in court…well, they were actors. Actors the studios had invested huge sums in. Sums they didn’t want wasted. Even when one of their own is murdered. Then the victim is sacrificed; even portrayed as the monster. I need to set the false stories to rest. Especially the ones being told thousands of years ago
