Absolutely Beautiful, Emotional and Addictive Read

This is book one in The Heartwood Lake Secret Billionaires series and it is Wren and Drake’s story and what a great start to a new series and omg it is definitely a must read. Wren is a single mom to Milo and a doctor at the practice in Heartwood Lake and works for Crait Quantum Shield which is a witness protection program and even though she use to be a trauma nurse she loves the job that she does now even though at times it is so busy that she misses time with her son Milo but living where they do also protects her and Milo so that is more important than anything else but when a new family arrives Wren and her best friends are really intrigued and would love to learn more about the Kershaw family as they seem mysterious. Drake had a awful upbringing because he was born to a maid who his father sent away and Drake never knew who she was or saw her again so he ended up living a lonely and miserable life and was the black sheep of the family but he still managed to go to medical school and became one of the most successful plastic surgeons but now his father had been killed and the whole family including his fathers ex wives and children are all in Heartwood Lake for the foreseeable future because of what there father was and did and they are all now in danger but until the threat is eliminated and goes away nobody can go back to their own lives because they are not safe. When Wren and Drake meet the attraction is instant and the connection and chemistry is so strong that sparks fly all around them but Drake wants to help Wren in the practice but she is putting up a fight as she needs the help so that she can spend more time with her son Milo but at the same time she doesn’t want to be close to Drake because of how he makes her feel and it could change the dynamics and complicate everything. The more time that Wren and Drake spend together and with Milo things definitely change and lines start to blur but with all the secrets surrounding them will they eventually be able to let there guard down and move forward from there pasts so that they can embrace how they feel and eventually get the happiness and future that they both want and deserve. Wow I absolutely loved this book because it was so heartwarming and emotional and Milo definitely stole the show because he was so cute, adorable and loving and Wren’s friends had me in tears of laughter because they were so funny and entertaining with there antics and I can’t wait to read there stories. I definitely recommend you read this book and you will not be disappointed because it is absolutely amazing and worth reading.
