Her perfect man wasn't supposed to be a male escort.
Vicar Eveline Shaw has always dreamed of finding 'the one', but her job keeps getting in the way. Only one person has ever made her soul sing – a perfect stranger who walked away without a second glance.

Dragged back to Somerset after a family crisis, Jack discovers his dream woman living in Foxbrooke. But Eveline wants forever, and he's an escort with no plans to stick around.
As the sparks flying between them ignite into an explosive affair, Jack's past catches up with him. Now he has to choose: keep running, or risk everything for love?

One of my favourite books…..
Evie has a wonderful way of pulling you in to her books with a very interesting and enticing first few pages. This one was really good and kept me wanting more. After reading the first chapter I just had to keep reading more and more as I was so desperate to find out what was going to happen next.
Evie’s books are just so easy to read, the story pulls you in and makes you keep reading more - it’s always just one more chapter!!
I really enjoyed getting to know all the characters, some of which we have already met in book one from the Foxbrooke series, Love Ad Lib and although this is book number two from the Foxbrooke series it can very easily be read as a stand alone with no problems at all, although why would you when book one was so fantastic too?!!
I absolutely loved getting to know Jack and Eveline and loved how we slowly learned all about their back story’s. They were two very wonderful characters and the chemistry between them is just off the charts, they were just so perfect for each other.
I also loved to hate Simon, he was just such an awful character…….
I absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed this book and it also honestly included one of the most romantic paragraphs that i have read in a long time. This book was heartwarming, romantic, extremely funny, very emotional and full of the most wonderful spicy scenes too!
An Unholy Affair has quickly become one of my favourite books of the year with two of my most favourite characters too. I honestly cannot wait for the next instalment and to have a catch-up with the residents of Foxbrooke again……..
Brilliant
Well that can I say? Jack and Evelines romance was totally different- in a good way especially with the way they met, and the way they came together. With their professions as well you wouldn’t think they would stand a chance but love can conquer any and all obstacles and they did. Swoon!
Evie has a way of digging deep into the core of her characters ensuring we know their challenges, vulnerabilities and desires which is refreshing.
I don’t give spoilers but if you’ve read ‘Love ad Lib’ you will again meet the quirky unique family and will fall in love with everything about this book.
Can’t wait for book 3- Bring it on Evie!
A match made in … heaven!
I could not put this one down and I'm absolutely sure you won't want to either.
Eveline and Jack are such great characters. I'm not a churchy person but I felt I was part of Foxbrooke parish, cheering Eveline on!
Warmhearted, hilariously funny, a nice bit of spice, an imperfectly perfect hero and a woman who deserves all the love in the world.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
