A fantastic fantasy story
A very captivating read, I was drawn in straight away by the gripping storyline. Each chapter becoming more exhilarating than the last, filled with character detail and life stories.

This kind of book is not really my thing but I thought I would try it. The story was good and it is well written. The score is only based on how much I enjoyed it, as already stated this type of story is not for me. Saying that the score would have been lower if the writing was not good.

Surprised, but in a good way!
I had come across a recommendation from R/books on Reddit for people who are looking for a story similar to the Fallout games. I expected it to be a serviceable attempt, however I was surprised with how gripping the plot became as I read further into it; leaving me wanting more… now for book 2!
