Publisher Description
Summer. Secrets. Sun-soaked mistakes... and the one boy who could ruin everything.
This was supposed to be my last summer of freedom before senior year. Three weeks away, then back home for pool days, late-night drives, and every plan my friends and I had already made.
Instead, my parents ship me across the country for the entire summer with two suitcases, zero warning, and a part-time job I never asked for. Their excuse? Grown-up problems they won't explain. So now I'm stuck in Feather Lake, North Carolina-supposedly getting closure, definitely missing out, and completely in the dark about what everyone's hiding.
Then there's Ryder Monroe: local heartthrob, professional menace, and exactly the kind of trouble I don't need.
He's infuriating, impossible to read, and somehow always where I don't want him to be. I swore I wouldn't fall for the brooding boy with the crooked smile and too many secrets. But from the second Ryder crashes into my life, nothing stays simple.
Now I'm caught between the guy who feels like sunshine and safety... and the one who feels like a storm I know better than to chase.
Ryder says he wants me gone. I tell myself I don't care. But the more we clash, the harder it is to ignore what's happening between us.
Because the worst thing Ryder Monroe can do isn't ruin my summer. It's make me feel again.
Cast Away is book one in the Wrecked series—a YA coming-of-age romance full of secrets, rivalry, banter, and a summer that changes everything.

Absolutely Amazing, Emotional and Addictive Read
This is book one in The Wrecked series and it is Ava’s emotional story and omg it is definitely a must read. Ava was a happy go lucky type of person with great best friends only for disaster to strike leaving Ava heartbroken, completely devastated and derailed her life causing her so much trauma which resulted in her becoming a totally different person and now summer break was happening and Ava’s parents decided that she needed a break and sent her to spend time with her aunty and uncle and also work while she was there to get some experience for when she decided what she wanted to do next and what Ava didn’t know was she was going to spend the whole summer there instead of being with her friends so she ended up resenting her parents for doing this to her without any warning. While Ava was travelling on the bus she met Joseph who eventually became a friend but when she arrived at her aunty and uncle’s house she then met Ryder who was a nasty and angry person and constantly talked down to her but he also made her feel things that she didn’t really want or understand because all it did was make her life even more complicated. Ava is trying so hard to have a good summer and experience new things but Ryder always seems to be there spoiling every single situation for some reason that Ava can’t seem to figure out. Joseph is all sunshine, light and fun to be around making Ava feel happy and relaxed when she is around him and then you have Ryder who makes Ava feel so many different emotions and also makes her feel totally out of control and become a different person so she doesn’t want to deal with him so something has got to give as all Ava wants is to have a great summer and explore different options away from home. Wow this is such an emotionally charged rollercoaster ride of a story that will have you on the edge of your seat with all the drama and angst and you feel like you are there living through it all with Ava. This book pulled you in right from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down as it was so addictive and I read it in one sitting as it was a real page turner and then you get a cliffhanger ending leaving you frustrated and needing the next book to see what happens next. I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.
