Publisher Description
Our banter was electric. Fueled by equal parts hate and desire. And as intoxicating as our chemistry.
I had one simple goal: escape my life for a month.
Destination: a quiet cabin in the mountains.
I never expected to run straight into the one man who would turn all my plans—and my heart—upside down.
Carter Hills. One man I never thought I’d argue with…until I did. Constantly. Infuriatingly. And yet, impossible to ignore.
I moved in next door, thinking I could keep my distance. But Carter was everywhere. Grinning at me like he owned the place. Like he owned me. Single, broken, and not looking for trouble—I was a walking disaster for temptation.
The worst? He hid who he really was. On purpose. All this time, I thought my moody, hot-as-hell neighbor was just another man I’d pass by…never realizing how completely he would consume me.
From the first spark of our feud, he pushed me, provoked me, tested me…yet he kept coming back for more. Every. Single. Time.
And no matter how hard I tried to fight it, I couldn’t ignore the pull between us. Every accidental touch, every heated glance, every impossible moment of closeness made pretending we weren’t drawn together harder and harder.
Could I risk everything for a taste of the fire between us…or should I run before I got burned?
A small-town, enemies-to-lovers romance full of sizzling tension, heart-stopping passion, and a love you’ll never see coming.

Wonderful journey
Firstly thank you so much Emmanuel for giving me a copy of Pink and Country in an exchange for an honest review!
I really enjoyed this book! It was a beautiful journey from both Carter and April. How they effortlessly fell in love with each other, became 2, but also stayed entirely independent throughout.
Both with such a disastrous past, needed each other to be able to get through that last hurdle to happiness and to heal, which they both defiantly deserve.
I will admit, this book was spicy, but not as much as I was expecting. I do think I have read spicier. Although I totally wouldn’t mind being April…
I loved all the side characters. Each having an important part to play, we’re just as interesting as the main characters. I love it when a book involves the side characters a bit more than what they normally would, it just gives you that little extra something to look forward to. I think Bernice deserved more lime light though!!
This book took me a little longer to read, only because I wanted to take it all in. I am usually a really fast reader, but I wanted to just relax with this book and I certainly did. This book is just a wonderful journey and I am so grateful to have been able to experience it!
ADDICTIVE LOVE STORY!
This book is addictive! 👏
I was truly captivated, invested and loved Carter and April’s relationship. This book had everything you could imagine and was brilliantly written to the fact that I had a book hangover and I want to re read it all over again as well as desperately wanting to read the rest of this series! 🤩
And to top it off this book is very steamy👀
Thank you to @snowemmanuelle for getting it touch and giving me the chance to read a copy of this book! 💜
