I love this series!
This story starts off from exactly where the last one finished, it’s not a spoiler to say that after the cliffhanger at the end of Off Course. This is a series you have to read in order so if you haven’t you need to go back to the start! We jump straight into the action and I loved that we aren’t left hanging. The storyline unfolds at a decent pace and goes through a lot of different viewpoints. I liked the pace it took and that it didn’t have any unnecessary physical altercations. I’m trying really hard here to not post any spoilers, it’s getting harder and harder as the series goes on!
All the developing relationships within the team are covered and I liked that there’s some movement within them. In the last book quite a few seemed in limbo and I’m pleased in this book there’s some forward momentum. I tend to get abit fed up with too much back and forth so happy to have some Atticus time.
Brantley and Reece are good and I love the wedding countdown moments. They have such beautiful chemistry and know how to spice up the story. I’m so looking forward to the next book and I hope it’s everything I want it to be.
