An great read from Melissa Foster
I’ve been looking forward to reading this book since I read Justin & Chloe’s and Tank & Leah’s books, it didn’t disappoint. This is the friends to lovers story of Gunner and Sydney, they are workmates and room mates but she has loved him for a long time and wants to be so much more. There is plenty of humour and be prepared to ride the emotional rollercoaster of the Melissa Foster. I love the world of Melissa Foster’s books, I wish I could travel there and meet the characters she writes about. I highly recommend this book, it’s an enjoyable read.
A new romance to become obsessed over!
Crazy, Wicked Love is the latest book by Melissa Foster and it is the third book in the Wicked: Dark Knights of Bayside series. This book is a bit different from some of the other books in this series, as where some have delved into dark and hard-hitting topics like Drug use and death, this book has a light and more sexily flirtatious feel to it.
The book focuses on Sidney, a woman who is very much more tomboy than your stereotypical girly girl. However, she is equally feminine and feels overlooked when it comes to men…. Especially one in particular - her best friend Gunner Wicked.
Gunner and Sidney have a very complex relationship, they have alot of shared history, work and live together and have seen each other at their best and worsts. You would think that would make her the ideal candidate for a prospective partner for Gunner, however, despite him viewing her as ‘his person’, he just doesn’t see her as his ‘the one’.
After a day with her girlfriends, Sidney concocts a plan to try and make Gunner jealous in the hope of attracting him. However, all does not go smoothly or according to plan. There are some really hot/cute moments, and some you can’t help but laugh at, but you will definitely want to continue reading.
This was a non-stop page turner for me, and I couldn’t help but feel obsessed with what would happen next. The story is believable, the characters as always relatable, and most of all there is that overwhelming romance that draws you in and leaves you feeling all fuzzy and warm.
I’d recommend to all romance readers, and those who want to become obsessed with a new book couple.
Take the next step forward or ruin a friendship
After serving in the military together and becoming best friends, Sidney and Gunner end up living and working together. Over time they start to have feelings for each other but don’t act on it. Should they stay in the friend zone or start a romance. Again there is the right amount of laughter and tears from Melissa.
