Publisher Description
Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers features a group of fun, flirty, and emotional friends who gather each summer at their Cape Cod cottages. They're sassy, flawed, and so easy to relate to, you'll be begging to enter their circle of friends!
Embraced at Seaside by Addison Cole is the sweet edition of New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster's steamy romance novel Seaside Embrace. The stories and characters remain the same, and convey all of the passion you expect between two people in love, without any explicit scenes or harsh language. PLEASE NOTE: This is true “sweet with heat” and Jana and Hunter’s story begins with a large dose of steam. It is the steamiest in the series, and remains true to the characters' personalities.
In EMBRACED AT SEASIDE...
After working hard all day creating his beautiful metal sculptures, Hunter Lacroux likes to unwind with a hot babe–or two. But after spending a handful of nights with smart, sassy, and beautiful Jana Garner, the woman who challenges everything he does and says, Hunter wants more.
As a dancer, boxer, actress, and waitress, Jana is tough, organized, and as dedicated as she is committed. She has to be to maintain her crazy schedule. But when it comes to men, Jana’s had a string of bad relationships, and there’s only thing she’ll commit to–not committing.
Passion ignites every time Jana and Hunter are together, but the closer Hunter gets, the faster Jana runs. When Hunter lays on the charm, Jana throws out a challenge she’s sure he can’t meet, and Hunter steps up to the plate, forcing her to face her hurtful past or let go of him forever.

Friends with benefits turned more romance with a little angst
Embraced at Seaside is a friends with benefits turned more romance with a little angst underlying the book. While there is some drama with the two characters, there is something very raw and emotional within this book that will definitely pull on your heartstrings at times but the light humour in places keeps it a fairly light-hearted sweet read.
Told from dual perspective, Jana fiercely independent character but is a troubled woman when it comes to love; Hunter, too, is a strong-minded but caring character who enjoys the freedoms of no relationship but when a challenge comes his way he certainly knows how to turn on the charm. As the author delves into past heartache, it becomes clear they both need each other as more than a casual and satisfying friends-with-benefits relationship and what I liked with the relationship between these two is that as the book evolves, the friendship we see being established carries through later on, especially when at times the characters frustrate you a little (for me especially with Jana).
If you enjoy friends with benefits romances that turn into something more, definitely give this book a read - I liked it!
*I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.
Loved it!!!!
Loved, loved, loved it..... I knew I would!!!
Friends to lovers stories are my favourite genre and this audiobook did not disappoint.
I loved the main characters Hunter and Jana from page one and their chemistry is through the roof and no matter how much they deny it they are made for each other.
Hunter is the player with a big heart and Jana is the girl he is finally realising he is falling in love with. Jana is scared of commitment and getting hurt and does not want to move past her ‘friendship’ with Hunter and does her very best to resist his attempts to woo her, but Hunter is persistent and determined to get his girl.
Catching up with past characters in this audiobook is also a massive bonus. I love to read about what is going on in the lives of the characters whose audiobook I have already read, this is one of the main reasons I love Addisons books/audiobooks.
A fantastic audiobook and I cannot wait for more!!!!
Addison has done it again
Hunter works hard all day on his stunning, in demand sculptures and enjoys nothing more than relaxing in the evening in the company of beautiful women. Jenna is equally as hardworking, either with her boxing trainer or her dance classes. Due to a horribe exboyfriend, Jenna has committed nerself to no commitments.
Jenna nad Hunter meet as their families become intertwined. As they spend more time together the passion intensifies, Hunter wants more of Jenna, but can she get past her past to see her future?
Having enjoyed the book, I have now listened to the audiobook. While I did enjoy it, the female narration I found a little hard to enjoy. It took a little while to get used to it. I did enjoy the fact that this time there was also a male voice during the narration.
