Top form from Master Brookmyre again. Crackling wit and menace, as dark as it gets there are still laughs to be had. And the characters, tangled webs of relationships old and new and paths crossing unexpectedly, and such tight story telling are a joy. On the edge of my seat, and eager to turn the page. And how does he make me fall in love with what otherwise might be such evil characters?! Well, therein lies the skill, and the rub...
