Publisher Description
Kerrod’s identity as a criminal hacker is a shameful truth he’ll take to his grave. But how can he protect his secret when the woman he’s fallen for is the detective trying to identify him?
For Kerrod Keegan, his identity as the best hacker in the underworld is his most shameful secret. When he meets Sophie Heywood, emotions that he thought he’s become incapable of feeling stir to life. But Sophie is the very definition of the wrong woman. Because she’s a cop, and he must protect his secret identity from her at all costs.
For Detective Sophie Heywood, her inclusion in a task force set up to identify and catch the best hacker in the underworld is the biggest opportunity of her career. When she meets Kerrod Keegan, her life gets even rosier. Their out-of-this-world chemistry is something she’s never felt with anyone before. But can Kerrod be hiding something from her?

A Risky Relationship
After several years of being careful with the jobs he accepts and not interacting with those he works with to avoid notice, Kerrod bumps into Sophie and is instantly smitten. Little does he know that she is a police detective, nor that she has just joined a task force whose purpose is to unmask and capture the Jester, an underworld hacker. Unfortunately Kerrod is, or rather was Jester, until Indie Rebels rescued him four years ago from the clutches of a criminal gang. I always felt so sorry for the bind that Kerrod found himself in and so was delighted to find that at last Kerrod gets a HEA (plus at the end of the story a fantastic new job).
