Nine years ago he took everything and left her cold. Now he’s back to claim what's his.
Alice
The poor and troubled young man who took Alice Jones’s virginity nine years ago and left her cold is coming to London. Now a rock star, he’s to perform in the theatre where Alice works as publicity officer. Ivan Kray, labeled as crazy by the media because of the voices he hears in his head, seems to have an ulterior motive for the appearance. He says he’s in England to take back what’s his. Alice. Or is his true intention to take revenge for how her wealthy family shunned him?
Ivan
Ivan Kray has learned there are only two truths in life. Not everybody dies, and only people with money get what they want. After how Alice’s daddy threw him out on the street like garbage, he slaved for nine long years to make money, and he’s finally going to get what he wants. The same thing as always. Alice Jones. The only niggle is the voices in his head that won’t leave him in peace. And as if that isn’t enough, now the spirits are threatening him with Alice’s life.
Note: The books in this series must be read in order. The series is complete.

Just Fantastic
I just loved this book, not normally a paranormal fan but this series of The Forbidden Arts has had me captivated. The plot is really good, you just couldn’t help but like Alice, her past has made her a survivor and determined to succeed and forget what happened 9 years ago. However sometimes your past has a habit of returning, is Alice willing to learn the truth when Ivan Cray returns, but he also has hidden secrets of his own that could destroy both of there lives, will both of there determinations end in HEA. Cain Jones and his paranormal team appear within the story so you know there will be fireworks when they all come together displaying there individual powers!! Cain also has his own dilemma as he needs to face up to his past???
I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I was totally happy to provide.
