Customer Reviews
Not for me unfortunately.
I really wanted to love this book and give it 5 stars but that’s not what happened. I struggled with this book. I absolutely loved the blurb and couldn’t wait to read it, however sometimes the end of a chapter doesn’t lead onto the start of the next one if that makes sense. Right after they meet up for the very first time at Dakota’s house, the start of the next chapter is confusing to say the least. To start with it reads like it’s a few days afterwards and then you find out it’s actually only the following morning. It doesn’t seem to flow in a way that I like but that could purely be because of the style of writing being a type I’m not used to. I also like longer books so the story has time to develop and engage the reader more.
Honestly I’m not sure if it’s just not my favourite style of writing and that’s what the problem is. I’m sure there are lots of people that love it.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
