Second Chance
A fantastic (electronic) page turner. It all starts with an accidental meeting, before the reader sees a relationship slowly develop. The way that Ann, the main character, juggled her own family alongside building links with her new extended family is woven well into the larger story. The book really picks up pace as the reader becomes embroiled in the thrilling adventure that ensues ! Ann and Stephen find themselves being pursued by a gang of thieves. The episode set in The castle is so well described that I felt like I was there! I kept reading anxiously right to the end.... would there be a much longer for happy ending for Ann and Stephen? I would certainly recommend this book, and look forward to the next instalment in the trilogy!!
Second Take
My first ever Ebook and what a good choice I made.
Second Take is a romantic mystery story that once I started I found hard to put down. The main characters felt very real and the story unfolded and quickly drew me in. A tale of families, missing jewellery and relationships I was soon eager to find out more about Ann and Stephens lives.
I loved the descriptive writing set within Caerphilly Castle and the way the tension built up towards the end. A great read and I'm looking forward to First Time the next book in this series. I've signed up for the email alert so I don't miss it.
