Absolutely Amazing and Beautiful Read
This is book two in The Donovans of Sweetbriar Ridge series and it is Ashlynn and Reid’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Ashlynn is a hairdresser at Lavish Locks but with her quick temper, argumentative attitude and a mistake she ended up being fired so now she has no job and she will need to take a step back and put a plan in action so that she can move forward and because she had always wanted her own salon that could be her new purpose in life. Reid is a firefighter in Roanoke and then his captain told him that a position in Sweetbriar Ridge was becoming available and because that is the place that always felt like home and he also had friends there he decided to go for it and was hoping that he succeeded as it was something that he really wanted and could also progress up the ladder. Ashlynn and Reid have history that ended in a bad way and Reid’s parents also moving away and he is looking forward to going back there. When Ashlynn and Reid meet again they ended up having another embarrassing encounter similar to the one years ago at school and that definitely started them off on the wrong foot yet again especially as Reid found it amusing and Ashlynn found it annoying. When Reid moved into the same apartment complex as Ashlynn they ended up spending time together and started to fall hard but then Ashlynn is accused of arson and with Reid being a firefighter and her boyfriend they could also accuse him of being involved and covering it up for her and that alone could make him lose his career so that is when everything starts to fall apart between them but will they eventually be able to communicate and take a chance by putting everything on the line and give them a chance of a future or is it already too late. Wow this book takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions along with twists and turns, abandonment issues, drama, trust issues, chaos, forgiveness, hope and love and I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t put it down as it was so addictive and I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.
