Classic
I’ve read the first six Gaunt’s Ghosts books many times since I was a kid and everytime it’s like coming home. The first three in The Founding are always good, the Ghosts’s perpetual battle against Chaos, the Vervunhive War, help from Eldar. It’s all there, everything you could want from 40k stories. I don’t play the game, but I love the 40k lore and these books entice me into starting an Imperial Guard army everytime. Ghost infantry, Blueblood elites, Narmenian Armoured… These books inspire passion for a different galaxy, that’s all I can say!
