APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
The fourth installment of Kiera Cass’ young adult fantasy series will delight fans and newcomers alike. Princess Eadlyn is part of the first generation coming up in Illéa since the dissolution of the caste system. While many of the nation’s residents are happy with this new equality, others violently rebel. Using a beloved tradition to appease the people, the king decrees that Eadlyn must go through a Selection: a Bachelorette-like competition in which she’ll choose her future consort from among 35 commoners. As Eadlyn steps out of her sheltered world, The Heir delights us with a youthful romance.

Great book. Really enjoyed reading from Eadlyns view of the selection. Though to be honest she was pretty annoying but I couldn't bring myself to give it a 4 star review because it's Kiera Cass's book and it was pretty good to.
Im so annoyed at Kiera Cass right now. I loved the first 3 books in this series, despite The Elite getting on my nerves. But Eadlyn was so childish and petty that all I wanted to do was slap her in the face. Kile, Erik and Hale are perfect though.
It was pretty disappointing: 2-D characters, lack of plot development and boring. There was no chemistry between any of the characters and the lead character was annoying to say the least. Would not recommend.
