About the author

Looks lovely...

I don't know if children still have a story time in school but The Hobbit was read to my class and I remember being absorbed in the world that it created. I re-read it a good few years back and it was strange to find that my memories of the book were very, very different - I preferred my version, if only I could put it in text...
Still, a fantastic read and nice to carry around in your pocket!

This book’s ending is stellar and the description during each challenge bilbo’s journey has is really interesting and nice.
JRR Tolkien has used Bilbo’s old life in bag end as a hilarious recurring daydream of bilbo’s.
I like how he has made it so clear that Bilbo found the ring of power from the lord of the rings.
Really interesting!
