Review of the hobbit by J.R.R. TOLKIEN
This book is very impressive. The author took his time to create his own language the book, and the general plot is a timeless classic.
Excellent
Excellent although a few areas of the book can be slightly confusing to understand.
My first proper book.
Haven’t read a book since I was in school. This was my first proper book to read of choice of my own. Only ever seen the films before hand. It was beautiful, majestic and well written.
Can’t recommend this book enough, paired with the imagery of the films and sketches in the book it is fascinating seeing everything play out in great detail for a second time. Feel like I’m enjoying it all again as if I’d never watched the movies.
So much gaps are filled in my knowledge and come to learn and appreciate the films differences in conjunction to the book.
Looking forward to the next 3 books!
