Publisher Description
Read this thrilling story about a wildlife biologist who will do anything to save endangered snow leopards…even face-off with an elite Special Forces soldier who is tracking the world’s most-wanted terrorist—a man who is as much of a ghost as the elusive cats themselves.
Wildlife biologist Axelle Dehn isn’t about to let anyone harm her endangered snow leopards—not the poacher intent on killing them, nor the soldier who wants to use them as bait. But Axelle is unknowingly entangled in a conflict that stretches back three decades, a conflict that could spark a war between two of the world’s great nations.
British SAS soldier, Ty Dempsey, is on a mission to hunt down an infamous Russian terrorist in a remote region of Afghanistan. Dempsey hasn’t failed a mission yet, but when Axelle is kidnapped by the Russian, he is forced to choose between duty and his heart. He risks everything to save the determined, prickly woman he’s fallen for, but in doing so sparks a deadly series of events that threaten to expose the most successful spy in history. A spy who will destroy anyone who gets in his way.

"I enthusiastically recommend The Killing Game by Toni Anderson. If you enjoy tense romantic suspense, military heroes who are old enough to retire from the military (Ty Dempsey enlisted at seventeen and has served twenty-two years = a thirty-nine year-old hero) and heroines who are passionate about their work, then skip the rest of this review and start the book now." –Smart Bitches Trashy Books.

Couldn't put this book down
An interesting story and an enjoyable read. I liked the characters and good twists along the way.
The Killing Game.
Toni Anderson can do no wrong as an author as far as I'm concerned. The Killing Game is another winner. Not her usual kind of book, but excellent all the same.Obviously a lot of research was needed to make sure the reader found Afghanistan believable, also with the Special Operatives in England,Russia and elsewhere. The characters were enjoyable and their wit at times, really made me laugh. It was a great story line, unusual for the writer, but was strong, gritty and well managed.
If you are not au fait with Anderson's work,I would strongly recommend that you give her a try.You won't be disappointed.Loved The Killing Game and getting ready for my next read.
Hot in the cold
This was the first of Toni Anderson's books that I read and I have been an addict ever since.
Her female lead characters are always strong on the whole, but with realistic and believable issues or hang ups. This book sees a dedicated scientist trailing through the snowy Himalayas not hesitating to jump into harm's way for the sake of her beloved snow leopards. Pulling a gun on a suspected poacher gets her way more than she bargained for - hang on for the ride! You won't be sorry.... Toni's male leads are scrummy, smart, sceptical and seriously sexy to boot. Enjoy!
