Publisher Description
The Vital Abyss is a novella that expands the world of James S. A. Corey's New York Times bestselling Expanse series - now a Prime Original TV series.
Somewhere in the vast expanse of space, a group of prisoners lives in permanent captivity.
The only company they have is each other and the Belters who guard them. The only stories they know are the triumphs and crimes that brought them there. The only future they see is an empty life in an enormous room.
And then the man from Mars came along . . .
The Expanse series:
Leviathan Wakes
Caliban's War
Abaddon's Gate
Cibola Burn
Nemesis Games
Babylon's Ashes
Persepolis Rising
Tiamat's Wrath

Customer Reviews
Bah. Hidden extras are so annoying.
Publishers, please stop including snippets of other writer's work. Or at least advertise it!
When I read a story I judge the flow of the story arc with an eye on how many pages are left to read. This calculation gives a certain tone and pace to how the story unfolds and how the writer has constructed the conclusion, dramatic or not.
With these 'free' extras snuck in, that calculation goes to pot and 10 or 20 pages from the end of a file (or print copy) you suddenly find the story you paid for is finished and you have bought a come-on for another story by a completely different author (or two).
