APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
When Carla Sullivan discovers her husband has been having an affair just before her 50th birthday, she sets off for Antibes—a heavenly seaside town in the south of France. But her husband’s infidelity isn’t the only reason to escape: Antibes is also where her estranged Aunt Jonette lives, whom Carla has just found a letter addressed to, written by her recently deceased mother. She’s determined to hand deliver it herself, a decision that will force her to face up to the long-buried secrets of her family’s past, and find a way forward amid the devastation they have caused. Villa of Sun and Secrets is a heartwarming, gorgeous story to transport you straight to the sunny French coastline—and keep you engrossed until its final moments. A perfect escapist read.
