Demons on the Docks

A vampire knows not to get too deep.

A detective knows to keep their distance from certain individuals. It's a sixth sense we have. 

When it comes to Quinn, I think I messed up this time around, because I'm drowning in her. In my work. In my immortality.

The cases keep coming, and Quinn keeps hypnotizing me with every breath she takes. I'm afraid of what will happen if I decide to breathe with her.

For now, I must stay focused on the dismembered body someone left in a trunk outside of my office.
