Amy Winehouse

They tried to make her go to rehab. She said no. 

“All my life I have been loud to the point of being told to shut up. The only reason I have had to be this loud is because you have to scream in my family to be heard”.

These are words from an essay written by Amy for her application into the Sylvia Young Theatre School. The words are an indicator of her childhood. They are reflective of her life and how she lived it. Loud and extravagant.
