Customer Reviews
Allistair’s Books have transformed my Personal, Work and Sports Mindset.
Reading Allistair’s books is one thing but putting his knowledge into practice is what takes you to the next level and above. I have read all of Allistair’s books and what a difference it has made in my life. I have learned how to manage my time through consistency and am able to successfully manage my work region while training for Ironman races and also sustain a balanced and loving marriage.
I consistently volunteer myself for new projects at work as I have the bandwidth over others to take these on and it has grown me steadily in my career. I travel weekly for work but have the mindset to train for my Ironman races, this takes Grit but I get up at 4:30am to get an hours run in then do my strength work in the evenings. I cover 11 States and have also found aquatic centers in 7 at this point and will alternate my run/strength workouts with a swim when in those states. I have successfully completed 13 full Ironman races including Ironman WorldChampionships in Nice France and will be heading to Kona Hawaii for another WorldChampionship in 2026. I have also completed 3 Boston Marathons, Chicago Marathon and 9 Comrades Marathons in South Africa.
My wife and I spend our weekends together doing fun activities and use our vacation to travel as downtime.
I am in no way gifted but understanding that hard work, consistency and grit is what gets you over the finish line is a true statement and sets you above the rest.
Thank you for your new book Allistair, more great incentives for me to continue my journey.
