Let the author read it next time
I heard Sarah Wilson, the author, in several interviews and was inspired to purchase the book. It’s unfortunate the publisher/audio producer didn’t let the author, who has a lovely Australian accent read this book. It’s full of great info., but I cannot listen to it anymore! The reader sounds like she’s a reading a story to a bunch of kindergarteners—- it’s grating and doesn’t fit the content. In fact, when you are detoxing from sugar, I cannot imagine a more irritating voice to hear. No thank you! Waste of money bc can no longer listen.
