So I’m basically a pro at KOTLC and love the series. I want to reread all the books before the 9th comes out and got this book but the narrators’ voice hurts my head.

Part Three(b)

Astrid had hit every single cliché for emotional turmoil. She had pulled out her headphones and blasted her music through her headphones and her Bluetooth speaker as well. She’d been listening to The Chainsmokers, one of her favorite bands. Somewhere along the line, she lost track of the time and ended up raiding the pantry in the middle of the night for snacks. At that point, she decided to switch to Lindsey Stirling, and ended up turning up the bass so high that Elwin had to scold her about it.
She couldn’t stop thinking about Tam Song.
She didn’t even know why; she barely met him for a few minutes at several times. she decided on the fact that she had been impressed by his silver bangs, and simply decided to leave it at that, pulling out her Sonic Mania Nintendo Switch cartridge and began to play the time attack on Green Hill Zone. She was pretty sure she’d turned off the TV, but she might’ve left it on, simply falling asleep facedown on the controller.
When she’d come down for breakfast the next morning, Elwin had made Asian-style scallion pancakes with soy sauce. It was very delicious and warm, with the flavor settling into her tongue, making her mouth water.
Elwin began to explain her schedule, saying that she’d been admitted into Foxfire, and she was going to start going there today. He had several boxes, all embedded with the Foxfire logo. Astrid had hurried to change into her uniform, pack her bag, wave goodbye to Elwin, and leap away on the Leapmaster.
Foxire was even more gorgeous than she imagined. The entire campus made her stare in awe, and she couldn’t even say anything to describe it.
She stood among other prodigies—other Level Fours—as orientation began. Magnate Leto, The Foxfire principal, stepped forward and gave the orientation speech of the morning and then did something embarrassing.
“Please welcome Astrid Cerberus to Foxfire Academy. She may have been in Excellium, but I’m hoping that you’ll still welcome her into the school.”
“If he thought I was going to invite the Councillor’s special brat into our school, he’s dead wrong,” whispered someone off to Astrid’s left. Astrid could have sworn it was Stina.
As soon as orientation over, Astrid hurried over to her locker. She yanked it open with a little more force than needed, grabbed her Universe book, and bolted to her Universe session.

Lol part three is apparently the longest one 😂
