Great casting
The book reminded me of that time where I watched “She’s all that” because the casting is incredible however it doesn’t get good till your 3 hours in however once you get over that hump, nothing but wet, horny sailings

I read the ebook first, and devoured it.
My second *read-through* in audiobook form had me thinking that this story was made for audio! The angst was angsting hard, and the narration team smashed their performance! How was it that even knowing how it would end, all the pining brought me to tears anyway?
This audiobook is a must listen in its own right or the perfect companion to the ebook.
I loved everything about this book. Jade, Daddy (aka Henry), and Bodhi’s story is going to be hard to beat. I was immediately drawn in and didn’t want their story to end — well, outside of wanting them to get their HEA. I could have read epilogue after epilogue of their lives together.
Bodhi was a standout character. His POV chapters made the story. How he fell in love with Jade instantly and worked behind the scenes to make sure she and Henry got together in the end.
The pining was epic. When you KNOW that the two MCs are perfect for one another if they could just get their heads on right. It’s even worse when they already had a perfect relationship and one of them pushed the other away. Those scenes broke me. Made me want to shout out “you idiot!”
This is a medium-burn and spicy, first love, second chance MF romance that ends in a HEA. It is the second book in the interconnected series of standalones: The Nest. While it is not necessary to have read Mr Heartbreaker first, I highly recommend it, as it is also a great story. You can grab it in audio or ebook form.
