Oliver Twist was the second novel by Charles Dickens
First published in 1837, the story of the young orphan Oliver Twist and his life on the mean streets of London has fascinated and shocked ever since.

Charles Dickens (1812 - 9 June 1870) is arguably the greatest novelist England ever produced.

Customer Reviews
Beautiful
I love Dickens. And the price was just right recently for a purchase. I have seen many movies of Oliver Twist and they can never cover the breadth and soul of this wonderful book. The recording of the audio was a little sub-par as there was an annoying hiss in the background on some chapters. It did not deter me from enjoying this listen. I loved the narrator and I was totally lost in Victorian London. Hope to catch more Dickens soon.
Oliver Twist
This is a delightful reading of a wonderful classic. When it comes to audiobooks, even a great book can be severely diminshed by a poor reader. This is why 'cheap' or free audio books are so often worse than no audio book at all. This is an exception, beautifully read and a pleasure to listen to. A wonderful tool for any English instructor!
