INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

The former attorney general provides a candid account of his historic tenures serving two vastly different presidents, George H.W. Bush and Donald J. Trump.

William Barr’s first tenure as attorney general under President George H.W. Bush was largely the result of chance, while his second tenure under President Donald Trump a deliberate and difficult choice. In this candid memoir, Barr takes readers behind the scenes during seminal moments of the 1990s, from the LA riots to Pan Am 103 and Iran Contra. Thirty years later, Barr faced an unrelenting barrage of issues, such as Russiagate, the COVID outbreak, civil unrest, the impeachments, and the 2020 election fallout. One Damn Thing After Another is vivid, forthright, and essential not only to understanding the Bush and Trump legacies, but also how both men viewed power and justice at critical junctures of their presidencies.

Apple Books costs 2x as much

Had to download an AMAZing competitors app just to read this book at half the price. Otherwise, the rating is pretty much what I’d agree with. Fun read!

Corruption in Action

It’s unfortunate to witness cowardice, dishonesty and greed a-combined with manipulative words being crafted carefully from cover to cover so that it would be called a book and displayed among our modern-day recorded history events. He was given countless opportunities to stand up for the constitution he was sworn an oath to defend, stand up for his faith and stand up for us (we, the people in this country) as our AG against the corrupt former WH occupant and the corrupt administration under his command, but he chose NOT to. Even in this book he had a second chance to tell the truth (all of it) afterwards and apologize to the American people for misusing the power of the DOJ advocating for the devil in every blow situation the latter put himself in an effort to save him, withholding information that could indicted the devil of treason from the start on the Mueller report all the way to the 1/6, yet again he chose not to do so. On the contrary, he went on and on writing how faith based and constitutional conservative he’s and how he upheld the constitution and served the Bush (the father) well, just to hook you up with his ill intended observations, then goes to criticize the devil with love a little bit so he can attract the Republican leaning independents and angry Democrats to follow along, calming the pessimist conservatives down and giving you a false indication to think he’s going to return to his faith driven roadmap to tell all, but then cuts you off-guard, ending any hope you had in seeing him carry up his dignity and reviving his integrity from the ashes. Elie Honig’s HatchetMan teaches you better if you want to know all about the AG and how he puts efforts to mislead the public. Unfortunately, the title was what brought me to get the book, hoping he would put out something worthwhile but he didn’t. Actually he started to beat the drums of blaming everything goes wrong in this country on the Democratic Party, whitewashing every crime the devil and his enablers in the Congress have committed including 1/6 in his last days in office, trying to overthrow the US government. As you listen, Barr shows you his ability of highly manipulating words to beautify everything ugly we’ve lived through the last four and half years. With praising the devil again and again, downplaying the threat that the man embodied and still does to the country, deciding to make money John Bolton’s way. I am certain history is judging William Barr unkindly for his complicity and all he committed against US government, its constitution and its people. Sorry to say, but it’s true and POWER CORRUPTS.

Excellent

Bill Barr gives us an unfiltered view of the issues facing the Trump administration. From the false accusations and investigations …to the self destruction, he provides a thoughtful perspective while staying true to his principals of constitutional law. A great read!
