Publisher Description
Cocky and self-assured, I’m confident when it comes to my skills both on stage and in the bedroom. Everything in my life is perfect, even if I am the last single man standing in our famed rock band.
But it wasn’t always this way.
Jayla knew me before I hit it big. Back when I was a skinny teen, chasing dreams without a penny to my name. Now she’s back in my life and so much more than the girl I remember. Fiercely loyal. Beautiful and badass. She walked out of my life before, and I won’t let that happen again.
They say some songs are better on the second take, and if there’s one thing I know for sure, this is our time for a replay.
The books in the Off Track Records series are interconnected stand-alone romance novels and can be listened to in any order.
Detour: Trent and Lexi's story
Derail: Sean and Jess' story
Hinder: Leighton and Opal's story
Replay: Austin and Jayla's story

Sorry to see the end but what an ending
This is a wonderful second chance romance that get better the further along it goes. While I enjoyed this I didn’t love it as much as the others in the series. I just struggled to connect with Jayla. I loved her jobs though because they are unusual for a woman and they seemed to make her more bad (in a good way). Austin is his normal joking self although he is thinking about finding his forever woman liked the rest of the band members. He doesn’t like feeling like a third wheel. I Love, love, love the explanation of Replay!! That Austin! He just surprised me with his statement. And That Christmas sweater thing! Gave me large grins!
I did love a lot of stuff that happens in here but I can’t mention it. I will give a hint...it has to do with the band members. Ha ha good hint huh? But they did surprise Me and made me grin...you know that big goofy one..eyes shining and teeth showing. Yeah that one!
I am more than thrilled to see what’s going on with the rest of the band and their ladies. Everyone has wonderful growth that continues throughout the series.
Overal it’s a wonderful story that has highs and lows. I laughed with this crew, was surprised and shocked at times. The Epilogues are perfect! This is a nice ending for these characters but I am sorry to see them go. Thank goodness for Re-listens so when I am missing them I can just Replay.
I did listen to this on audio. Jason Clarke and Morae Brehon are the narrators. Jason did amazing as he does normally in this series with all the guys voices. Morae Brehon is a new to me narrator.
Amazing listen!
Kacey Shea has books so far in the Off Track Records series, and I am loving the community it has built! I feel like I am part of the band and get to enjoy all the ups and downs of their building success. This story lets us get to know Opal Evans, Lexi's sister. She was introduced to us when their father died, and now she gets a chance to know the band and her sister better. The band is still reeling from the death of their drummer and in need of replacing him. Their manager, Bedo, finds a talented young musician, Leighton, and his attraction to Opal is palpable. But conditions of his hiring keep him from her. Or will they? When Opal and the band find out Leighton's secret, heads will roll. But will it be the end for this couple? I LOVE Opal and Leighton. I fell for Opal, Her innocence, her need for acceptance, her huge capacity to love had me rooting for her happiness. Leighton is quite the guy. A little arrogant at first, his attitude and need to be in the band all become clear. He is warm and affectionate and I love his inner war when he is figuring out his life. It makes him believable. And just having all the band there, Austin, Shaun, Trent and Lexi make it feel like coming home. Keep them coming! I am look forward to our next visit!
Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood are incredible with the narration. Story telling at it's best, these two can go from young adult to middle age with such ease. Peachwood is perfect as Opal. She falls into her character, making each facet of her personality so true to life. Clarke is fantastic, keeping the voice of each character from book to book so it's easy to know who is speaking, and keeping all their dispositions in tact. Love these two together and really enjoyed their performance.
Second Chances For The Win
I really really enjoyed this journey that Austin went on to find love with a childhood best friend.
His fall is so beautiful! Her journey to sexual healing is just as beautiful!
I loved the wrap up of the over arching storyline from book two onwards of Coy being wrapped up.
Jason Clarke is so amazing at his talent. He did some singing towards the end and my heart just went putter pat 😍
Morae Brehon is new to me and she is quite talented. She brings the character Jayla to life so well.
Her guy voice is great too since her voice is lower and gravely in and of itself.
I will for sure follow her work ❤️
