Doesn’t hold up
Loved this as a kid, but as an adult I’m disturbed by the Eurocentric, binaristic ideology that forms this fantasy. And I’m tired of hyper-individualistic fantasies that follow the marginal competence of a white male child who has done nothing to earn his exceptional status and power, and bumbles through to triumph thanks to others picking up his slack.
