Hot Little Number!

This was one of those books that starts off hot and ends hot. Heath and Ally were spot on. Both wanted the excitement of something new, quick and down-right good. One-night-stands were definitely in their vocabulary and both were just fine with it. But this one-night-stand turned into much more when their rule of not knowing anything about each other brought them closer than they ever thought.

Ally was a very reluctant heroine. Heath never wanted another relationship after his long-time relationship in college failed and his hours as a doctor didn't give him much time for one. But then something about Ally made him want to try.

It's always nice to see when a hero has to drag the heroine out of the shadows instead of the other way around. I was glad to see where things went with this couple.

Listened to audible. The narrator was spot on again. Love the deep voice and it fit the hero just right.

HEATH!!!

Oh how I love the Wild Boys. Robert Ashker Kraft, the narrator, does a marvelous job of bringing them to life. The changes in the tone, the attitude, and the cadence is perfect for this sexy story. I enjoyed listening to his tone while reading as one of the other characters.

Oh Heath. He is hot, sexy, and so alpha. Yet he is so lonely. He lives life one day at a time and doesn’t make long term commitments. He broke my heart, until he met Ally. Instantly there was sparks and I could feel it was more than a one nighter. Ally tried to follow his rules... No last names, no strings, no ties but could not shake the memories.

I loved that it came down to Heath wanting more from Ally and Ally being cautious. He had to work at winning her trust and her heart. While working to win over Ally the reader got to see Heath’s sweet and sensitive side. I am in total lust with this man.

As with the rest of the series, it is steamier and sexier than the rest of the Braden series. Yet, it is just as amazing. I started and finished in one car ride and could not wait to keep reading about the Wild Boys.

Good book

This was a quick book that I enjoyed from the start. Heath and Ali were a great couple with explosive chemistry between them. Heath was different from his brother Logan from book 1 of this series but I liked that he was his own man with personality and a strong sense of family as well as issues that he needed to work through in order to find love with Ali. Ali was an untrusting characters due to her past dating experiences but was well written and was close to her family as well. Watching the pair find love while working through their relationship issues was enjoyable and swoon worthy. The plot of their story moved along well and even though Heath and Ali found love quickly, the pace of the plot did not feel rushed. The narration from Mr. Kraft was performed well bringing this story to life and making it an enjoyable read to listen to. I would recommend this book to others.
