Too much boring detail of items in rooms.
I bought the audio version of the book and wish I could return it.

Too much detailed descriptions of non important items in rooms and clothing people are wearing.

I’ve enjoyed listening to many of the Reacher stories, but this one was actually aggravating. So often the story just stalled as the author filled in with mindless details and speculation. It’s one thing to set the environment - in this book the descriptive interludes are the vast majority of the story. Even listening at 2X wasn’t enough - I found myself often skipping ahead and hoping it would end.
