Quintessential
This is the quintessential book on modern psychology. Pry yourself away from the foolish constructivist theory and introspective cognitive psychology and embrace an extension of natural selection to human behavior. Skinner's genius is fully on display in About Behaviorism and, while bandwagon psychologist have abandoned it in favor of theory du jour, his philosophy of the science is not dead (I am talking to you, Paul Bloom of Yale). Indeed, the earth is not flat, evolution is fact, and behaviorism is the best science of behavior. After you finish reading this, get the free copy of Science and Human Behavior for free at the Skinner foundation website. Enjoy your conversion from mentalism (or, for those led astray, welcome back).
