Publisher Description
From the New York Times bestselling author of The Giver of Stars and the forthcoming Someone Else's Shoes, discover the love story that captured over 20 million hearts in Me Before You, After You, and Still Me.
“You’re going to feel uncomfortable in your new world for a bit. But I hope you feel a bit exhilarated too. Live boldly. Push yourself. Don’t settle. Just live well. Just live. Love, Will.”
How do you move on after losing the person you loved? How do you build a life worth living?
Louisa Clark is no longer just an ordinary girl living an ordinary life. After the transformative six months spent with Will Traynor, she is struggling without him. When an extraordinary accident forces Lou to return home to her family, she can’t help but feel she’s right back where she started.
Her body heals, but Lou herself knows that she needs to be kick-started back to life. Which is how she ends up in a church basement with the members of the Moving On support group, who share insights, laughter, frustrations, and terrible cookies. They will also lead her to the strong, capable Sam Fielding—the paramedic, whose business is life and death, and the one man who might be able to understand her. Then a figure from Will’s past appears and hijacks all her plans, propelling her into a very different future. . . .
For Lou Clark, life after Will Traynor means learning to fall in love again, with all the risks that brings. But here Jojo Moyes gives us two families, as real as our own, whose joys and sorrows will touch you deeply, and where both changes and surprises await.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
After You is a very different book than its prequel, Me Before You. We cried our eyes out in the first installment, while this time around we felt a sense of easy comfort and elation on reuniting with the charming, no-nonsense Lou Clark, whose world was upended by her former employer, Will Traynor. After You will resonate most with fans of the prequel, but anyone can delight in Moyes’ disarmingly self-deprecating heroine—and celebrate the idea that sometimes good people do get their just desserts.

Lovely, but overly dramatic at times
The series are page-turners; hence the high rating. However, this second installment is more depressing than the first. There was no sobs this time; the writing more predictable. But, it was all around exciting. The character development makes up for the sporadic plot devices. Looking forward to the next!
She did it again!
When I read 'Me before you', of course I was balling pretty much the whole second half of the book. I did not think it would be possible to write a sequel to such a great book. It's like I was still mourning Will's death right along with Lou. Jojo Moyas has an incredible talent of writing characters you really connect to and get attached to. I preordered this because I had to read it weather it was good or bad, because honestly, 'Me before you', I think is my favorite-or at least most touching-book I've yet to read. Well I am pleasantly surprised once again! I cried pretty much through out the whole book. 5 stars all the way! I can't wait for the movie to come out next June. Can't wait!!😊
Doesn't compare to the first book
I wanted to love this, but I didn't. Without spoiling the plot, I'll just say that it never gains momentum. By the time it seems like the story is finally getting started, it ends. Sort of. More like just stops.
