Publisher Description
Darren never loved anyone like he did Ash. But Ash was ancient history after she disappeared without a trace. At least that was what he thought until she shows up one day at The Knotted Kneedle.
Suddenly, those old feelings from before... before he was a Dom, before he was anything, come rushing back. The only problem. Ash is engaged and has no interest in rehashing their past and bringing up all the old, painful memories that come along with it.
Unfortunately for her, Darren has never been one to take no for an answer. Not when it comes to the only woman he ever saw a future with. He still loves her and wants her back despite the pain of the past and everything her disappearance caused.
But will Darren's persistence come with reward? a second chance at love? Or will it end the same way it did before... and leave him with an ache he can't ever fulfill?
This is the fourth book in the Love & Ink Series by J.A. Howell.

Howell’s still got it!
Howell did it again... As usual, I fear my review will not do her brilliant writing justice. The Love & Ink Series is an all-time favorite of mine, I was sucked in from the first paragraph of Book #1, and now that it's coming to an end, I'm kinda devastated. This is a series that I'm certain I'll revisit as I'll never get enough of the gang or Midtown. Generally, I am anti-romance but I'll read anything Howell writes, as her words are like drugs: addictive. I feel like her books don't fit into any genre perfectly anyway. They're clearly derived from real life experience and issues but still done with a vast imagination. There's always an air of humor thrown in with very real, very traumatic and serious issues as well... so you'll truly experience having your heart just ripped out and shredded, as well as laugh-out-loud moments. (Don't let that opening scene scare you off.. it does get better and you'll see that scene is completely necessary, awful as it is. ) Darren is someone who has shown up throughout the series and was always a bit of a mystery. I'm stoked to have gotten to know him a little better now. The continuity is perfect, both within this book and the series itself - for the storyline and the characters -all characters involved. Editing/Proofing is professional and pretty well done. Formatting and cover area gorgeous and appear professional. Cannot recommend this or Howell's other series (The Possess Saga) enough. ALL the stars.
