I will wait forever
This bear makes patience look gorgeous. The author did a fantastic job when she created this couple. They have to wait for a long time to mate, due to circumstances and overcoming the past. But throughout it all he was steadfast and gave his all to his mate. The author managed to keep this book exciting with the threat of an enemy that may leave you afraid of the dark, but have no fear. With these bears and their friends in their corner our couple finally makes their way to their HEA. Each book by this author just gets better. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
Unlikable characters
I didn’t care for the way that Nate and Luisa were written. Nate came off as a total doormat. He did not stand up for himself. Nor did he call out Luisa’s disrespectful and dismissive behavior towards him. Luisa came off as selfish and self absorbed. A simple conversation with Nate about her issues and fears could have solved the problems she had with being mated. I also thought the fight seen was glossed over and not really developed.
