Jeff Giantbulb had always loved beautiful Manchester with its cold, confused cliffs. It was a place where he felt lonely.
He was a witty, callous, squash drinker with grubby feet and ample eyebrows. His friends saw him as a repulsive, rotten rover. Once, he had even revived a dying, old lady. That's the sort of man he was.
