Publisher Description
An overworked single mom from New York City. A billionaire surfer from Florida. Can the turn of the tide bring these two together?
Brooklyn
Ah, finally a vacation. My son is at summer camp. My worries are back in the city. Now I just get to sit back, relax, and... get into a heated argument with my Airbnb host? Speaking of heat, is the Florida sun getting to my head, or is it the drop-dead gorgeous man in front me?
My friends did say I need some Vitamin D...
But my life is complicated, and no amount of adventure-filled treasure hunting, steamy make-out sessions, or ocean-deep conversations can convince me that our beach affair could last. Especially once Evan learns my secret.
Evan
I'm rich on paper, but I don't live my life like a typical billionaire. Nor do I date tourists. Especially ones who mistake me for a plumber and eat my breakfast before I have a chance to quell my hanger.
Brooklyn is argumentative, rude, stubborn, beautiful, smart, fun... Okay, let's say I kind of like her. That doesn't change the fact that she's only here for a week—or that I haven't told her an important fact about myself.
But if surfing has taught me anything, it's that you have to seize the moment before it's gone. And what if I don't want to let her go?

Quirky and fun to brighten your day
4.75 stars
If laugh out loud, quirky stories are your thing then you are in for a treat with this one. Brooklyn is a woman who needs a break and is gifted a vacation from her best friends. When she arrives at the Air BnB she meets Blake. To say that when they met they were oil and water would be an understatement but there is a fire percolating and when it begins to burn all bets are off. Filled with laughs, adventure, steam and a bit of raunch thrown in, this is another winner from Misha Bell.
So cute!
This was cute and funny! I really enjoy this author’s humor. It’s funny with a bit of raunchy added in and I love the way Evan and Brooklyn met. I enjoyed their awkward get to know each other phase that quickly morphs into their can’t stay away from each other phase. This made for a fun read!
