His strength, his masculinity brought out something primal within her. In his arms, she felt like the Amazon warrior she’d once pretended to be as a little girl.

electrifying chemistry and action intense suspense
I really enjoy Grants storytelling but think I would absolutely love it if it was written in first person. I'm invested in the characters but I know 3rd person just takes that additional closeness away.
When you crack a Donna Grant novel, you know you're in for a treat. BLAZE brings us back into the world of the Dark Kings with a situation critical already brewing, electrifying chemistry and action intense suspense that grabs the reader and keeps them hooked till the end.
I received this ARC copy of Blaze from St. Martin's Press. This is my honest and voluntary review.
Creative PNR Series
Anson (Dragon King) & Devon's (Human) story:
This is a continued plot line with Anson and Devon as the main focus. Devon works for Kyvor, the company that targeted Kinsey (previous book in series). Kinsey, Esther and Anson are focusing on Devon hoping to convince Devon that Kyvor is not the company she thinks it is and to spy on them for information. What they find out is that Kyvor has targeted Devon like they did Kinsey. Anson wasn't expecting to fall for Devon and now wants her out of danger.
This series is kind of complex with the many characters and different species and figuring out who they are working with or against. It's a very creative story and plot line and I love how the author has worked in the characters from her Reapers series into this plot.
The timeline of this book was working almost side by side to the timeline of the previous book that was focused on Demetri and Faith.
I love that this focuses on Dragon shifters since there are not many quality books out there that does. It's a fun series and I'm looking forward to continuing with it to see how it all ends.
Overall Series Review: Fun, fast paced PNR series. Great storyline, characters and suspense. Mates for life, protective alphas and many foe. Main characters are the dragon kings along with Dark and Light Fae, Driuds, Reapers and humans. This is a continued storyline focusing on a different couple per book.
ARC provided by NetGalley.
An excellent well written story of another dragon king. Anson, Kinsey and Esther are on a mission in London. Enter Devon and Anson is attracted to her. Dreagan has been under scrutiny since the video of the dragon shifting and Kyvor is trying to get more than just information. Devon becomes involved and the troubles between the dragons, Ulrick , dark fae and others is escalating. Rhi is still helping but you will discover the subplots are growing and betrayals are growing.
As Anson discovers his feelings for Devon have grown, we will learn about special connections between them and mates will be joined from past books in the series.
I recommend the entires series and this book is excellent!
