Fueled by ancient magic—and enflamed by human desire—the Dragon King known as Hal can transform himself at will into one of the legendary winged creatures he is sworn to protect. But one thing he can never do is fall in love…with a mortal woman.
Searching for her brother in Scotland—and succumbing to the freezing cold—Cassie Hunter awakens to find herself in the arms of a magnificent Highland warrior. Across his chest is the tattoo of a fiery dragon. And in his heart is a burning passion that, once unleashed, will consume them both…body and soul.
This is a story of destiny and desire, magic and mystery, warriors and lovers.
These are the forbidden cravings of the Dark Kings.

Short, Sexy, and To-The-Point
A well-read, short read. Though the steamy scenes seem to come too fast. Too much too soon but still, an arousing and sensuous bite of yumminess. Overall, great plot, love the background setting in Scotland and the magic of the Highlands. Some of the story is hard to follow if you’re not familiar with Scottish mythology. However, I really enjoyed the story line and the magic and fantasy of the characters. It’s a short, but good ride that builds into the next book. It’s well-written with Scottish elements. A couple of typos but overall, if you’re into magical, fantasies, with a touch of steamy romance where it involves sexy, muscular heroic men who find their woman while the plot unfolds, you’ll enjoy this short read. I’m a huge fan of “ heroic men who saves the world and gets the girl” themes. I love happy endings. I love when love changes the dynamic of things. After all, love is what makes the world go round. :-)
Great!!
Really wish it was a longer story, but I completely loved it!!!! Great job! I can’t wait to read the other books in this series
Really good but short
I like the shorter stories but in this case I want to know more about the dragons and their politics.
A few typos one at a critical part of the story makes me want to be a proof reader.
