Better as a novella
Katharine Ashe books are never bad but this one is not her best. The central misunderstanding between the main characters goes on longer than is believable and while the ghost story and characters are fun the whole thing just feels overlong but also somehow underdeveloped.
A stupid stupid book
Silly women, inane incomprehensible willful misunderstandings..only an idiot would believe this drivel. The ghost cannot rescue it. The worst characters, not believable. Third rate at best. Not worth a penny
