Two years ago, Jason and Kate Ryker were brought together by grief and bound to one another by love. Now married, they’re confronting their fears together.
But heartbreak finds them again, and the ties that bind Kate and Ryke are tested as she struggles against fear and sadness. As a grief counselor, Kate understands all too well the pain of her clients. And while her husband’s career as an NHL forward is at an all-time high, he’s coping with the frustration of feeling powerless as his wife's hopes slip away.
Kate’s unexpected journey sheds light on the fear that imprisons her, and reveals that only she can set herself free.

Uplifting Story
I had a hard time putting the book down. I have read the previous book in the series but you could probably follow the story without reading book (which was also great). In this story a newly wed couple goes through the loss of a child. It follows along with their different paths of grieving. It still has a happily ever after with a twist in the end. It left tears in my eyes and I am recommending it to my family and friends.
Utterly Enchanting
I couldn't find a single thing I disliked as I read this book. It picks up smoothly from the first installment of the series, and I must say, I enjoyed it as much, if not more than the first. With steamy romance and such a trying emotional journey, I really couldn't put it down. If you're reading this review wondering whether you should read this book, this is your sign. Do it.
Captive review!
I was really sad when Kate had another miscarriage, but when she found out that she was pregnant again I was so happy and then they adopted melody and shortly after that they had their baby and I was so happy for them! I wish these books of Kate and Ryker were made into movies! I give this book a 10 of 10
