Sugarcane
A good read for anyone interested in black history. Middle stories(chapters) kind of repetitive, same issues different part of the region. Lots of death, as I’m finding with all his books so if you’re sensitive stay away. It all comes together nicely at the end though
terrible
ive read four fifths and cant stand any more
Carribbean
Very disappointing, almost boring. I have enjoyed all of Michener’s books other than this one. Texas, Alaska, Centennial all were great.
