Publisher Description
In Close Your Eyes, The New York Times bestselling duo Iris Johansen and Roy Johansen are back with a suspenseful novel about a once-blind woman with a talent for tracking serial killers
The FBI doesn't usually consult with music therapists to solve their cases. But Kendra Michael's astonishing powers of observation and analysis have made her a favorite of law enforcement agencies all across the country. Blind for the first twenty years of her life, she cares little for investigative work but can't deny her unique skill, or the results she's been able to facilitate. Kendra learned at an early age to become hyper-aware of her surroundings, perfecting the art of picking up the most subtle audio, olfactory, and tactile cues in the world around her. Like a secret weapon, she is in high demand.
Former FBI agent Adam Lynch, known as The Puppetmaster, has weapons of his own. He's a notorious master manipulator, skillfully handling criminals and colleagues alike to get the results he wants. Now he needs Kendra's special brand of help, but she's not interested until Lynch reveals that Agent Jeff Stedler—Kendra's ex—is missing and may have run directly into the path of a serial killer. What began as a heinous murder investigation escalates into something even larger and more frightening: a multi-million dollar conspiracy to hide a secret that's worth killing for, again and again and again.

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Bestseller Johansen and son's gripping fourth collaborative effort (after 2010's Shadow Zone) stars Dr. Kendra Michaels, a music therapist with some amazing talents. Born blind, Kendra developed her other senses to an extraordinary degree until her sight was restored at age 20. As a modern-day Sherlock Homes, Kendra is invaluable to the FBI, who pull her into the case of six fatal stabbings in the San Diego area in 45 days that was earlier investigated by her former lover, Jeff Stedler, who's gone missing. All six victims had the same as yet unidentified substance in their bodies. Despite not being a team player and friction with her co-worker, Adam Lynch, Kendra picks up some almost invisible clues that put them on the right track. Now someone is determined to kill her. The authors combine idiosyncratic yet fully realized characters with dry wit and well-controlled suspense that builds to a satisfying conclusion.

Good, quick read
This was a decent mystery type read that felt similar to such shows as "the Mentalist" or "Unforgettable". Biggest complaint would be all of the grammatical errors. Don't they have proof readers or editors for a 'new York times best selling author'??? Also, way too many unnecessary curse words. Overall it was still a good enough story line to keep me reading through to the end.

Great read! Loved the characters, and the story line. Not too many
Characters either, which sometimes can get confusing. Highly recommend. Intriguing story, about a girl who has regained her sight, and her amazing skills
Close Your Eyes
I can’t say I enjoyed this book It was too suspenseful or me to enjoy it, bu I’ll say it sure held my interest. however the fact that someone who played an important part in the book died didn’t please me. I guess I’ll have to read another one of the series tos e if a small hope I have will come true.
